1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Curiora, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Curiora.

2. The Service

Curiora helps users capture, organize, revisit, share, and preserve memories through mobile, web, cloud, and AI-assisted features.

Some features may be local-only. Other features may require an account, internet access, cloud synchronization, or third-party services.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.

4. User Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, import, or store in Curiora.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, store, or share content through Curiora.

5. Limited License to Operate Curiora

You grant North Harbor AI LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your content solely as necessary to provide, secure, improve, and support Curiora and to follow your instructions.

This license does not transfer ownership of your content to North Harbor AI LLC.

6. Sharing

You are responsible for content you share and for selecting appropriate recipients and permissions.

Recipients may copy, save, screenshot, export, or otherwise retain shared content outside of Curiora. Curiora cannot guarantee that shared content will remain private after you share it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to violate laws or rights of others; upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or infringing content; access accounts, content, systems, or data without authorization; bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions; interfere with, disrupt, overload, or degrade Curiora systems; distribute malware, phishing, spam, or harmful material; scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data except as expressly permitted; misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or use Curiora in a way that harms children or violates child privacy or safety laws.

8. Reverse Engineering and Service Protection

Except where prohibited by applicable law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from proprietary portions of Curiora.

You may not attempt to discover, probe, exploit, or bypass non-public APIs, storage systems, security controls, synchronization protocols, or backend services except as permitted under a responsible security disclosure process.

9. API and Integration Usage

You may access Curiora services only through official clients, documented interfaces, authorized integrations, or functionality explicitly provided by Curiora.

Curiora may later provide public APIs, developer tools, MCP integrations, export destinations, or partner integrations. Additional API terms may apply.

Nothing in these Terms restricts lawful use of exported user-owned content or lawful interoperability rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

10. Automated Access

You may not use bots, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools to access Curiora in a way that bypasses controls, exceeds reasonable limits, degrades service performance, extracts data without permission, or creates security risk.

11. Security Research

Responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities is encouraged.

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, contact security@northharbor.ai. Do not access, modify, destroy, copy, or disclose another user's data, and do not exploit vulnerabilities beyond what is reasonably necessary to demonstrate their existence.

12. Intellectual Property

Curiora software, designs, trademarks, logos, documentation, and service components are owned by North Harbor AI LLC or its licensors.

These Terms do not grant you rights to Curiora intellectual property except for the limited right to use the service as provided.

13. AI Features

Curiora may include AI-assisted features. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for some uses.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs before relying on them.

14. Export and Portability

Curiora aims to support meaningful export of user-owned content. Available export functionality may vary by feature, platform, and account type.

15. Service Changes

Curiora may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features as the product evolves.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, misuse the service, or if required by law.

You may stop using Curiora at any time and may request account deletion through available tools or by contacting us.

17. Disclaimers

Curiora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free operation.

You should maintain your own backups of important memories and content.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, North Harbor AI LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, excluding conflict of law principles.
